Rain, rain come again!
It has been more than 2 weeks since we had rain. The dry spell has somewhat gets to us quite a bit. Especially because my bedroom is facing the evening sun and its getting quite warm at night. We have to switch the a/c on earlier these days.
Sometimes the days got all dark and cloudy. A thunder or two broke. We looked up the sky with a lot of hope that it would rain. But.......nothing.
Until recently, nothing can be done and we were just talking and making sure that everybody drink more water. We also water our plants twice a day. The grasses are turning yellow, so we even have to water the lawn.(we do not have a sprinkler system)
So yesterday, my daughter had an idea. You see, I have this jinx ever since I first owned a car. I cannot have a clean spotless car cos it will surely rain the day I wash my car. Be it I wash the car myself or send it to the carwash. It doesn't matter if its a cloudy day or a bright sunny day. I'm known for it that some of my former colleague ask me to warn them if I wash my car that day. They will not wash theirs the same day.
So yesterday, I washed 2 cars at once!!! So.... what do you think happen????

Hujan sungguh ke.....ini mesti dengan kilat sabung menyabung ni sebab basuh smpai 2 biji sekali...hehehehe
ReplyDeleteaku nak beri kau petua ha, bila hujan...kau undur kereta kau keluar dari garaj..kau letak tengah hujan...atas atap kau bubuh sabun buku dettol kle, lux ke apa ke...nanti bila hujan.. air sabun akan meleleh turun dan menyabun kereta kau...lepas tu kau lap...dan bersih..simple kan...tu orang lelaki basuh.. janji selesai masalah

ReplyDeleteUsop, cadangan yg baik tu. Saya pun tak nak jadi hamba kereta. Biar hujan cuci dia. Automatic carwash lah kiranya. Tapi kena musim panas macam ni, madang tak mandilah kereta kita ye? Guna feather duster kot...
